What the assessment asks

Every question is multiple choice or a short answer. You do not need payslips, reports or figures to hand, and "not sure" is an acceptable answer.
Your workforce
- Roughly how many permanent employees you have
- How often you pay them: weekly, fortnightly or monthly
- How many employees you estimate are 30 or younger
- The average monthly salary of your cleaning staff
Your payroll
- Who currently runs the payroll
- Whether EMP201 returns are submitted monthly and up to date
- Your approximate monthly PAYE bill
- How the business is doing financially, and what you would do with a saving
At the end you leave your name, email and phone number so Knox can come back to you, and confirm consent under POPIA.

What Happens Next.
The assessment is an estimate. It tells Knox whether your company may be eligible for a payroll rebate. The full analysis, which shows what is actually due, follows only if you decide to go further.
The assessment asks whether you would be willing to share a redacted version of your payroll data. That is what lets Knox put an accurate figure on the saving.
